Clothed by a God Who Does Not Forget
Reading: Matthew 6:28-30 — where Jesus points to wildflowers as a demonstration of God's attention to beauty and provision, even for things that are temporary, and challenges his listeners about the smallness of their faith

Devotional: Wildflowers are here today and gone tomorrow, yet God clothes them in a splendor that surpasses human achievement. If God invests such care into what is temporary, what does that say about His investment in you — someone made in His image, redeemed by His Son, and indwelt by His Spirit? The word Jesus uses regarding faith in this passage carries a tone of gentle rebuke, not condemnation. He is not shaming His followers; He is calling them upward. Small faith produces large anxiety. Growing faith produces growing peace. Ask God today to expand your confidence in His provision so that your worry has less room to breathe.
