The Hope of Redemption
1 John 1:5-10; Ephesians 5:22-33

Here is the glorious truth: you are not trapped in the curse. Just as Genesis 3:15 pointed forward to Christ crushing Satan's head, the gospel offers complete hope for your marriage. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, Satan's power is broken. When you confess your sins—your desire to control, your selfishness, your failure to love sacrificially—God is faithful to forgive and purify you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead can transform your marriage. Ephesians reveals that marriage is meant to reflect Christ's relationship with the church: sacrificial, loving, and redemptive. Today, bring your specific marriage struggles to the Lord in confession. Name your sins honestly. Then receive His forgiveness and ask for His transforming power to make you the spouse He desires you to be.
