Great Expectations, Greater Obedience
Hebrews 11:1-8; 2 Corinthians 5:7

William Carey, a poor cobbler with minimal education, believed God's impossible call to India. Critics mocked him. Circumstances opposed him. Logic argued against him. Yet his obedience sparked a global missionary movement that continues today. He famously said, "Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God." Faith isn't waiting until everything makes sense—it's moving forward when nothing does. Abraham left his homeland without knowing the destination. Philip left revival for desert. Carey left security for uncertainty. What's your "India"? What calling seems too big, too illogical, too impossible? God specializes in using the unqualified and accomplishing the impossible. Your inadequacy is the perfect canvas for His sufficiency. Stop waiting for perfect clarity. Start walking in faithful obedience. The best place to be is where God wants you.
