Built Up Through God's Word
2 Timothy 3:14-17
The early church used their season of peace wisely—they were "being built up" through God's Word. Spiritual growth requires spiritual food and spiritual exercise. Just as Olympic athletes use rest periods to train harder for the next competition, believers must use peaceful seasons to deepen their roots in Scripture. We grow strong not through comfort alone, but through consistent intake of God's Word combined with active ministry and service. How is your spiritual diet? Are you regularly feeding on Scripture, allowing it to equip you for every good work? The trials will come again—they always do. But when you've been built up through God's Word, you'll stand firm when the storms arrive. Make time today to feed your soul with Scripture.
