Walking in Newness
Romans 6:1-14; Colossians 3:12-19

You have been given new life in Christ. The old patterns of control, manipulation, domination, and selfishness no longer have to define your marriage. Romans 6 reminds us that we died to sin and now live to God. This isn't just positional truth—it's practical reality. Today, you can choose compassion over criticism, kindness over control, humility over harshness. Colossians calls us to bear with one another and forgive as the Lord forgave us. Let love bind everything together in perfect harmony. Moving forward requires daily surrender. Each morning, ask God to help you die to your selfish desires and live for your spouse's good. When conflict arises, remember the real enemy isn't your spouse—it's the sin nature you both battle. Fight together, not against each other. With Christ's power, you can experience the beautiful union God designed from the beginning.
