Worry Has Never Added a Single Day
Reading: Matthew 6:27 — where Jesus poses the rhetorical question of whether anxiety has ever extended a person's life by even the smallest measure

Devotional: Worry feels productive. It masquerades as responsibility and planning, but it delivers nothing except exhaustion and, often, physical harm. Medical reality confirms what Scripture declared centuries ago — chronic anxiety contributes to illness, not longevity. Stressing over a retirement account balance does not grow it. Losing sleep over unpaid bills does not pay them. Jesus is not dismissing the reality of financial pressure; He is exposing the futility of anxiety as a response to it. Today, identify one financial worry you have been carrying as though it were your burden alone to solve. Then deliberately, prayerfully, release it to God.
