The Eye That Guides You
Reading: Matthew 6:22-23

Devotional: Jesus uses the image of the eye as a lamp for the body to illustrate how our inner focus shapes everything we do. When our vision is fixed on God and His kingdom, clarity and light fill our lives. But when our gaze drifts toward the accumulation of wealth and earthly security, darkness creeps in. The way we perceive the world around us is shaped by what we are ultimately looking for. A person consumed with gaining more will interpret every situation through that lens. Ask God today to give you eyes that see clearly, fixed on Him alone.

Reflection Question: What has been occupying the center of your attention this week, and how has that shaped your decisions and attitudes?

Practical Application: Spend five minutes each morning this week asking God to direct your focus toward His kingdom before you engage with the demands and distractions of the day.
