Where Your Treasure Lives
Reading: Matthew 6:19-21

Devotional: Jesus draws a direct line between your wallet and your heart. In these verses, He warns against storing up earthly treasures that decay and can be stolen, urging His followers instead to invest in what is eternal. This is not a rebuke of saving money or owning possessions. It is a confrontation of the heart's deepest loyalties. The question is not what you own, but what owns you. Consider your spending habits this week. Do they reflect a heart anchored to earth or one reaching toward heaven? Invest in what lasts forever.

Reflection Question: If someone examined your spending from the past month, what would they conclude about your greatest priorities?

Practical Application: Review your recent purchases and identify one area where you can redirect resources toward an eternal purpose, such as giving toward missions or serving your local church.
