Guarding the Heart Through Generosity
Reading: Acts 20:35 and Luke 12:15-21

Devotional: Jesus warned that a person's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions, then illustrated the point with a man whose entire identity was built around accumulation. The rich fool was not condemned for being wealthy; he was condemned for living as though God did not exist and eternity did not matter. Generosity is one of the most powerful guardrails we can build against the love of money. When we give, we loosen money's grip on our hearts. As Jesus himself said, it is more blessed to give than to receive. Generosity is not merely a financial act; it is a declaration of where your trust truly lies.
