The Resurrection Changes Everything
Reading: Romans 4:25

Devotional: The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not a footnote to the Christian faith. It is the foundation. Romans 4:25 makes clear that Christ was raised for our justification -- meaning the resurrection is the divine declaration that His sacrifice was sufficient, that the debt was fully paid, and that forgiveness is genuinely available. Without the resurrection, the cross is only a tragedy. With it, the cross becomes the greatest act of redemptive love in all of history. Your forgiveness is not based on your effort or your worthiness. It rests entirely on what Christ accomplished and what the empty tomb confirmed.

Reflection: How does the reality of the resurrection change the way you understand your own forgiveness?

Practical Application: Spend time today meditating on the truth that your standing before God is not based on your performance but on the finished work of Christ. Let that truth shape how you speak to yourself throughout the day.
