The Table of Fulfilled Hope
Reading: Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Devotional: The Passover meal was itself a promise — a yearly remembrance pointing Israel forward to a deliverance yet to come. When Jesus took the bread and the cup in the upper room, He was not introducing something new. He was declaring that everything the meal had always pointed toward had now arrived. Every lamb slaughtered at Passover whispered of the Lamb who would take away the sin of the world. The Lord's Supper is not merely a ritual of remembrance — it is a proclamation that Hope has come and will come again. As you reflect today, ask yourself honestly: have you placed your faith in the Hope that has been fulfilled in Christ?
