Living by a Life That Is Not Your Own
Reading: Galatians 2:15-21; Acts 28:17-28

Devotional: Paul stood before the Jewish leaders in Rome and declared that his chains were worn because of the Hope of Israel. He was not a prisoner of Rome — he was a servant of Christ. That same conviction is captured in Galatians 2:20, where Paul describes his daily existence as one no longer driven by his own life but by the life of Christ living within him. This is not passive language. It is the declaration of a man who had surrendered the controls entirely. The question for today is practical and searching: in what areas of your life are you still living by your own strength rather than His?
