The Treasure Within
2 Corinthians 4:7; 2 Corinthians 4:6
Devotional: It is easy to look at your own life and see only limitations — your failures, your weaknesses, your ordinariness. But Paul reminds us that God deliberately places extraordinary treasure inside ordinary vessels. The light of the knowledge of the glory of God, the very gospel of Jesus Christ, lives inside of you. God is not waiting for you to become more impressive before He uses you. He has already placed His best inside of you through the power of the Holy Spirit. Your inadequacy is not an obstacle to God's purposes — it is the very canvas upon which His glory is painted. Stop measuring your worth by what you lack and start recognizing what God has placed within you.
Reflection: In what areas of your life do you feel most inadequate? How might God be using those very areas to display His power and glory to those around you?
Practical Application: Write down three personal weaknesses or limitations. Beside each one, write a prayer surrendering that area to God and asking Him to use it for His glory.
