The Witness of Unity
Reading: Psalm 133; Romans 15:5-7; Acts 2:42-47
Devotional: "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" The early church's unity was so compelling that people were drawn to Christ daily. Their harmony wasn't based on uniformity—they came from diverse backgrounds—but on their shared devotion to Christ and one another. Unity doesn't mean we all think identically; it means we prioritize our common mission above personal preferences. When the world sees believers loving one another despite differences, it validates the gospel message. Conversely, division damages our witness and grieves the Holy Spirit. As you conclude this study, consider: What role am I playing in my church's unity? Am I a peacemaker or a source of division? Commit today to actively pursue peace, bear with others' weaknesses, and let your love for fellow believers testify to Christ's reality.
