Learning by Example
Reading: Philippians 2:1-11; 1 Corinthians 11:1
Devotional: "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ," Paul wrote. Leadership isn't merely about teaching correct doctrine—it's about modeling Christlike character. When Paul entered Jerusalem, he didn't lecture the concerned believers about their misunderstanding; he demonstrated his respect for their convictions through his actions. Christ Himself modeled this perfectly, humbling Himself to the point of death for our sake. Parents, leaders, and mature believers carry the sacred responsibility of setting examples worth following. Our actions teach more powerfully than our words. What example are you setting for those watching your life? Are you modeling humility, flexibility, and genuine love? Ask God to make you an example of Christlikeness that draws others closer to Him.
