When God's Chosen Are Rejected
Acts 7:9-16, 23-29; Genesis 37:12-28

Stephen's defense reveals a pattern throughout Scripture: God's chosen deliverers were often rejected the first time. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers. Moses was rejected when he first tried to help his people. Yet both became instruments of salvation when God's timing was perfect. This pattern culminates in Jesus—rejected by His own people, yet becoming the Savior of the world. Rejection doesn't disqualify you from God's purposes; it often precedes your greatest impact. Perhaps you've experienced rejection in ministry, family, or calling. Don't interpret rejection as God's final answer. He may be preparing you for a second coming—a return with greater authority and effectiveness. Trust God's timing. Your rejection today may be preparation for someone's rescue tomorrow.
