The Call to Sacrifice
Acts 4:36-37; Hebrews 13:16; John 15:13

Barnabas stands as a beautiful example of sacrificial generosity. He didn't give from his excess or for recognition—he sold property to meet genuine needs in the body of Christ. His sacrifice reflected the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus, who laid down His life for us. God calls every believer to sacrifice time, talent, and treasure for His kingdom. This isn't optional Christianity; it's the heart of discipleship. Sacrifice shapes us into Christ's likeness and glorifies God. Examine your life honestly: What are you sacrificing for other believers? How are you giving to your local church? Remember, God isn't impressed by the amount but by the heart behind the gift. What might God be calling you to release for His purposes today?
