Anchoring Your Soul in God's Sovereignty
Acts 4:24-28; Job 42:2; Romans 8:28

The early church began their prayer with a profound declaration: "Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them." Before they asked for anything, they reminded themselves of who God is. Sovereignty means God is in complete control—over creation, history, political leaders, and present circumstances.

This isn't just theology; it's the anchor for your soul. When life feels chaotic, when enemies seem powerful, when circumstances appear overwhelming, God's sovereignty is your resting place. Nothing catches Him by surprise. No plan can thwart His purposes. Even when you cannot see how, He is working all things together for your good.

What situation feels out of control in your life today? Declare God's sovereignty over it. Remind yourself that what you're facing has passed through the hands of your Father who loves you. Let this truth remove your worry and restore your peace.
