The Better Possession
Matthew 6:19-24
Yesterday, we saw how early Christians joyfully accepted the plundering of their property. Today's reading reveals why - they understood the nature of true treasure. Jesus calls us to store up treasures in heaven, not on earth. This requires a shift in perspective, valuing eternal things over temporal ones. What "treasures" are you holding onto that might be hindering your spiritual growth? Consider how you can invest more in your relationship with God and in serving others. Remember, our true wealth is found in Christ alone.
