Prayer Should Be Your First Step, Not Your Last Resort
Acts 4:24-28; Psalm 3:7-8

Be honest: when difficulty strikes, is prayer your first response or your last resort? For most of us, we worry first, plan second, strategize third, and then—when we've exhausted our options—we pray. The early church shows us a better way. Facing threats and opposition, they immediately lifted their voices to God.

Prayer wasn't their backup plan; it was their battle plan. They didn't wait until they had figured everything out. They brought their confusion, their fear, and their uncertainty directly to the throne of grace. What situation are you trying to solve on your own right now? What problem have you analyzed from every angle but haven't truly surrendered in prayer?

Today, make prayer your first step. Before you send that text, make that call, or devise that strategy, talk to God. Let Him be your first responder, not your last hope.
