When Trouble Comes, Go to Your People
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Acts 4:23-24a

When Peter and John faced opposition, their first instinct was to return to their community. Notice the text says they "went to their friends." This wasn't weakness; it was wisdom. God never intended for you to walk through difficulty alone. The Christian life is designed for community, where two are better than one and a three-strand cord—you, others, and God—cannot be easily broken.

Who are your "friends" in faith? When trials come, do you isolate or integrate? The early church modeled something powerful: vulnerability within community leads to strength. Before they strategized or panicked, they gathered. Today, identify the believers in your life who form that unbreakable cord with you. Reach out to them, not just in crisis, but regularly, building the relationships that will sustain you when storms arise.
