Wonder and Amazement
Acts 3:9-11; Psalm 40:1-5
The crowd was "filled with wonder and amazement" at the healing. But here's the question: Are we still amazed by our own salvation? Time and familiarity can dull our sense of wonder at the gospel. We forget we were once spiritually lame, unable to approach God, destined for judgment. The greatest miracle isn't physical healing—it's spiritual regeneration. You've been made alive in Christ! Your sins are forgiven! You have eternal life! Never lose the wonder of Amazing Grace. When worship becomes routine, when Scripture feels ordinary, when prayer seems mundane, return to the cross. Remember the lame beggar you once were and the leaping, praising child of God you've become. Let wonder restore your worship today.
