The Blessing of God's Approachability
Hebrews 12:18-24

In our reading today, we see a stark contrast between Mount Sinai and Mount Zion. Mount Sinai represents the old covenant of law, marked by fear and unapproachability. Mount Zion, however, symbolizes the new covenant of grace through Jesus Christ.
As believers, we have the incredible privilege of approaching God without fear. Unlike the Israelites at Mount Sinai who trembled in terror, we can draw near to God with confidence. This is not because we are worthy, but because Jesus has made a way for us.
Reflect on the blessing of having direct access to God. How does this change your approach to prayer and worship? Take time today to thank God for His approachability and the intimacy He offers us through Christ.
