Looking to Jesus in Suffering
1 Peter 4:12-19
Suffering is an inevitable part of the Christian journey, but we're not left alone in our trials. Peter encourages us to rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that we're participating in Christ's sufferings. This doesn't mean we seek out pain, but rather we find purpose and hope in our difficulties by looking to Jesus. Reflect on a time when you experienced God's presence in the midst of suffering. How did that experience shape your faith? Today, if you're facing challenges, intentionally look to Jesus. Remember His example of enduring the cross for the joy set before Him. Ask God to give you a eternal perspective that sees beyond current struggles to the glory that awaits.
