The Helper Who Completes
Psalm 115:9-11; Proverbs 31:10-12

The term "helper" carries divine significance. When Scripture calls a wife a "helper," it uses the same word describing God as our helper—ezer in Hebrew. This isn't about inferiority but about being an indispensable ally. A helper provides what is lacking, strengthens what is weak, and completes what is incomplete. In marriage, both spouses are called to this mutual helping. The Proverbs 31 woman demonstrates strength, wisdom, and capability—far from a subordinate role. God designed marriage as a partnership where each spouse brings unique strengths that complement the other. Consider today: Are you serving as an indispensable companion to those God has placed in your life? How can you better reflect God's helping nature in your relationships?
