Examining Yourself Before the Lord
1 Corinthians 11:27-32; 2 Corinthians 13:5; Psalm 139:23-24

Before partaking of the Lord's Supper, Paul instructs believers to examine themselves. Self-examination isn't about condemnation but honest assessment before a holy God. Are you walking in the fear of the Lord? Are you being a Barnabas to those around you? Are you growing spiritually through God's Word and obedient service, or merely growing older? This examination extends beyond Sunday morning into every area of life—your relationships, your faithfulness, your stewardship, your service. God desires authenticity, not performance. He invites you to come honestly before Him, confessing where you've fallen short and receiving His grace to grow. Regular self-examination keeps your heart tender and your walk with Christ vibrant. Don't fear this process; embrace it as an opportunity for deeper intimacy with your Savior.

Reflection: What areas of your spiritual life need attention today? What steps will you take toward growth?
