Filled and Empowered by the Spirit
Acts 4:8-12; Luke 22:54-62

Just fifty days earlier, Peter denied Jesus three times. Now, filled with the Holy Spirit, he boldly proclaims Christ before the same council that killed Him. This transformation wasn't about Peter becoming braver or more eloquent—it was about surrendering to the Spirit's power. We often rely on our own strength, cleverness, or courage to share our faith. But Peter's example shows us that supernatural boldness comes from supernatural filling. The Holy Spirit doesn't just comfort us; He empowers us to speak truth regardless of consequences. Your past failures don't disqualify you from future faithfulness. The same Spirit who transformed a denier into a defender lives in you. Where do you need to stop relying on yourself and start depending on the Spirit's power today?
