God's Loving Discipline
Hebrews 12:5-11
God's discipline in our lives is evidence of His love for us. Just as a good parent corrects their child for their benefit, God disciplines us to shape our character and help us grow in holiness.
While discipline is rarely pleasant in the moment, it produces a "harvest of righteousness and peace" when we submit to it. Instead of resenting hardships or challenges, we can view them as opportunities for growth and refinement.
Reflect on a recent difficulty you've faced. How might God be using this to shape your character? Ask Him for the grace to endure, and the wisdom to learn the lessons He wants to teach you through this experience.
