Faith in Action
Hebrews 11:1-6
We conclude our week by exploring the essence of faith. Hebrews 11 defines faith as "confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." This chapter goes on to list heroes of faith who acted on their beliefs, often in the face of great adversity. Today, consider your own faith journey. How has your faith been tested recently? In what areas of your life is God calling you to step out in faith? Remember, without faith it is impossible to please God. Pray for the courage to put your faith into action, trusting that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. What one step of faith can you take today that will draw you closer to God and His purposes for your life?
